Keagan is the name I chose for myself in 2008. So really you can use either of those.

So this might come as obvious but in this house we support all the letters within the LGBT+ - and just in case that's even less obvious, of course in this house we consider asexual part of the LGBT+ community, we should really stop with this discourse.
I am against all sort of bigotry and I am trying my best to be as safe as I can possibly be.If you don't support ALL LGBT+, people of colour, fat people, women, mentally ill people, disabled people, poor people, now might be a good time to unfollow or block me.I am an advocate for fair and equal representation in medias.I love to cook, to draw, I write (original fics, fanfiction, poetry), I'm crafty, I make up stuff, like sketchbooks, earrings, I like to repair stuff (I can sew), I am also a photograph (I especially like to take pictures of the sky, the sea, flowers, nature, macro), I like dancing (I have practiced contemporary dance until 12), and singing.

Etymology of my artist name:
🌙Keagan
Gaelic, meaning little flame, ardent. Anglicisation of Mac Aodhagain, means thinker, fiery, Aodh can mean fire. Can mean "the decendant of the fiery one". Gender neutral.
---
🌙Ashleigh
Derived from anglo-saxon æsc (ash) and lēah (wood, clearing, meadow, enclosure) - it can mean "dweller near the ash tree meadow", or more simply "ash tree", "ash meadow" or "tree ashes".
---
(note that both names have a relation to fire - it's my favorite element but when I picked Keagan I didn't know what it meant - I was drawn to that name, and when I learned its meaning it was like "wow, this name was made for me")

SOME OPINIONS ABOUT STUFF
Here's my opinion on some subjects, just to clarify where I stand so you can decide whether following me or not.
🌕
Specifically about Sherlock:• Obviously I am a johnlock shipper, and related but unrelated (I mean it's true whether they're a ship or not): Sherlock is gay, John is bisexual. It's not just what I think, it's what the queercoding in the show - and in the books - is telling.✨• I think Mary was a villain, and I love the character, I just think they wrote her in a grey area where you can read her as such and I believe it would have been a better ending and story arc if she had been explicitly a villain.✨• I don't care that she had a redemption arc, but I care it was done badly.✨• Molly was a great character but she hasn't been respected by anyone in the story and outside. She had so much potential, and she was evolving in s3 and TAB, she was starting to live for herself and - I mean I think she crossed a line being violent to Sherlock in HLV but it was part of her path and it should've been exploited in s4 (and it should've been addressed), but the character dev was dropped after TAB so she remained this weak person who can't grow from an unhealthy relationship. To me she was much more than this, than being defined by her obsession for Sherlock who was SO rude to her.✨• S4 was terrible. I don't care if people like it or not, it's just objectively bad writing. I still love the show though, let's not mix things up
And there's still stuff in s4 I do like and think are good, I am not bitter enough to taint everything in black.✨• Moffat has a very sexist way of writing women, it's true about Sherlock, also true about Doctor Who. He writes a woman who fights and is powerful but makes her whole arc about a man and along the way make her either a seductress, a mother, or a pining lover, now am I talking about Irene, Mary, Clara, Euros, River, Molly, Amy, or Missy? Who knows. He writes them strong enough so he can pat his own back congratulating himself about how feminist he is, but let's not be blinded, his writing of women is completely influenced by his male gaze and own fantasies, and I think Irene is the epitome of that.✨• I am uncomfortable about shipping Sherlock with women, and Irene with men, because the first is gay and the second is canonically a lesbian.✨• I used to be in the TJLC corner of the fandom - actually I still am somehow, I still think there is evidences that Sherlock and John are into each other and written as gay/bi, but now I see them as evidences of queerbaiting or evidences that it was supposed to be endgame but they took another direction as johnlock became more and more popular and the TJLC theories started to be told in medias. And I still believe in johnlock in ACD canon.✨• I have seen some people on Twitter say s4 John wasn't out of character because he was rightfully angry at Sherlock for repeatedly getting on his nerves and ultimately being selfish, uncaring, and because this all caused someone's death.
Now whether we like Mary or not here is not the point, John was sad that she died, there's not so much we can do about that so I understand where this analysis is coming from, he was angry at Sherlock for Mary's death, I agree with it but I disagree with the reason why he's angry and I disagree with all this being in character and right. But John WAS out of character in s4. Because, doesn't matter how angry he gets, how much Sherlock gets on his nerves, he is not a violent man like that. He gets angry, he throws fists at times but he never hates.Even when Sherlock comes back after lying about his own death which devastated him. What we saw in s4 wasn't anger, it was hatred, it wasn't anger, it was rage that did put someone in a hospital bed - and this is why he was out of character. He was rightfully angry about Sherlock "fooling around", about the fact he acted as if he was dismissing John's pain. Although his anger about Mary was misplaced, bc Sherlock wasn't responsible, he never asked Mary to follow him that night, he didn't made her do anything she wouldn't have done, her death was totally on the shooter's fault - but I can understand, in such circumstances, he needed to blame someone, and since she saved Sherlock he blamed him.I understand the anger, but John doesn't hate. What he did wasn't right. The hatred and beating up didn't make sense. And it was utterly wrong that this behavior was never properly addressed afterwards - next episode, it's not a big deal, and we all move on. This is not right because it gives the feeling that puting your friend in a hospital bed is no biggie, sane way to deal with feelings yo - but it isn't. The whole thing was misplaced and what John did was unforgivable. What the writers made John do was unforgivable. What also makes it mischaracterized is because of the initial set up of s4, the way it was written, it was bound to birth this kind of inconsistency. From the very beginning of series 4, it all feels like they cut the tie with the rest of the show, so necessarily there is mischaracterization and inconsistencies.
And it includes John being hateful instead of just angry.✨• I don't believe in the extended mind palace theory, and I don't believe in s5 at all and even less in "secret ep". It's done, my hopes are gone, this is over. I stopped believing in s5 a long time ago. But if it makes you happy to believe in either those things, have at it, I'm just saying, be careful not getting your hopes too high up.🌕On other subjects_• It's valable for Sherlock and every other fandom: the actors are not their characters - it sounds obvious to me but I've seen enough people on SM having takes that clearly indicates it's not obvious to everyone.
Amanda Abbington is a TERF. Jared Padalecki is a violent, rude, and racist person. Just like William Shatner is a racist & ableist person. And many others. And I am sorry that it challenges the fact you like them as actors, and it challenges the fact you see yourself as a good person and being told that this person you like is otherwise a bad person just creates a cognitive dissonance in you bc you subconsciously think you can't be good and like bad people, but those are just facts. This is not "mistakes" they've made or said, this is consistent in their personality and behavior, at some point there are things we can't excuse.
The fact that we dislike a character doesn't mean we hate on the actor, and vice versa - just because we're critical about an actor's behavior, acts, and words, doesn't mean we hate on the characters they play.
I dislike Jared and AA, but I like Sam and Mary a lot.
Also, actors and staff can be awful people, they can be bigots, or just stupid and rude. But that doesn't mean you hate on the thing they write. Moffat for instance, is awful on many perspectives, but that doesn't mean Sherlock is bad and that we don't love it.Anyway, what I am saying is the reality and the realm of the show/movie/book are two very separate things and we tend to forget that a lot in fandoms.✨
I don't care that people ship real people as long as they don't overstep and harass said people, but personally I am not comfortable with it. I might enjoy some posts because oftentimes it only shows people being cute with each other, so it doesn't matter much.✨• Big discourse at the moment: about proshipping and stuff. I do not care what everyone is shipping, but no, I don't think shipping incest and pedophiles is a good thing and I can't understand why there's a need to say that. Sure, we don't have to over explain why we aren't comfortable with a ship, but the contrary's also true, you don't have to over explain why you're ok with it.Don't tell me because it's fiction it's ok - it is not, not if there isn't some sort of critical observation with it, otherwise racism, sexism, homophobia, etc, in medias, it's all ok bc it's fiction. It is not. Or Jim Carrey puking at the idea of having hooked up w a trans woman is ok because it's only fiction. Having a 20min rape scene in Irreversible or in I will Spit on Your Grave is ok because it's fiction. Having an entire movie dedicated to promote anti abortion views is ok because it's fiction. You see what I'm saying, none of those things are ok, the fact it's fiction is not a free pass for anything and everything.
But as I will develop later: what matters is not the fact of showing it, it's HOW it is shown, how you make it clear in your fiction that this is not ok. That's the difference between fetishization and critical observation.I don't care about your arguments, there is no debate, despite what Twitter might make you believe. I won't discuss it further after this carrd. But'll say: if for you incest is ok in fiction without any form of critical observation, then just never open your mouth about representation and sexism/homophobia in medias, because your argument (it's just fiction, ppl know better than being influenced irl by fiction) to defend it is incompatible with the argument in favor of a more inclusive representation in medias (what is shown and how it's show is impactful on society, it's never just fiction). And don't tell me anti-incest shippers are only critical of fanfiction: NO. We are all VERY critical about mainstream medias, that's why you see people advocating for better rep and criticizing movies like Besson's Leon (forgot the eng title sorry). That's why the bechdel test exist. That's why there's Buzzfeed tops about the most problematic scenes on mainstream medias. Because we are critical of ALL medias, mainstream and fanmade. And yes, parenthesis, there is a difference between shipping incest or shipping abusive ships like reylo with shipping hannigram, because the difference isn't WHAT is shown, it is HOW it's shown. I guess maybe it's because they acknowledge this is fucked up, meanwhile reylo is over romanticized and the abuse is never acknowledged.I will not talk about the ships I don't like or disagree with, I will absolutely not harass people over this or over anything else (though disagreement is not harassment and I see people mistaking the two) - but I expect you not to overstep this: I disapprove your incestuous/pedo ships and cringey arguments and I will just unfollow you or mask you if you make me uncomfortable.
I don't owe anyone an explanation for unfollowing and no one owes me explanations for unfollowing me. Let's just walk past each other and move on.✨Parenthesis related to the subject: with Loki we've been confronted to Loki and Sylvie ship: I can't care less people are shipping them. I don't ship them though. There is absolutely NO moral grounds in real life to say it's a good or a bad ship since we just can't possibly in real life be confronted to this sort of situation, since we can't clone ourselves, we don't have parallel universe doubles with which falling in love, etc, there is no irl situations we can use to reflect on this sort of relationship. And it won't have bad influence because you can't ever be in a similar situation, no one will ever be traumatized by having sex with their clone/variant/double.Shiping a character with another version of themselves, is a philosophical discussion, not a moral discussion, it's purely theoretical, and you can't pretend knowing the answer better than the person who disagrees with you. Whether you like it or not: it's morally neutral. It's a bit like questioning about the humanity and rights of clones as in The Island kind of questioning or whether an IA can be considered having a soul. No one has THE answer, because those situations are pure science fiction. It IS fiction, in this instance. So you don't have to over explain and find moral grounds to explain why you're irked by this ship. I don't particularly like it either because it feels awkward. And that's a good enough explanation: i don't like it because it feels weird. End of story. What is factual though is it is not incest as they are not actually related, they are alternative selves.
The closest thing is autosexuality which is a thing (I don't care what opinions people have on it, my opinion on it doesn't matter, it's a thing that exists) - "selfcest" isn't a nice word for it, be careful not invalidating real people experiences while discussing this, though. Autosexuality can bring a great deal of shame and self-hatred, paradoxically -, I fear this whole discussion will only make it worse. THAT is the only real consequence of "selfcest" discussions. The only real effect it all has is making people feel like shit because you can't stop comparing what they experience with incest and abuse. With all that being said, about Loki and Sylvie: personally, I don't even think Sylvie is actually a Loki, I believe she's meant to be the Enchantress, so whatever.BTW if you'd like other references, there's the myth of Narcissus which is a good start, the movie Predestination (Loki x Sylvie is weak next to this movie), Doctor Who's episodes where Missy and The Master have a thing briefly, The 6th Day, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Adam and Eve are basically clones of each other if you think about it - this is all I can think of.✨Also this: I am not using proshipping/antishipping words because this has become umbrella terms under which everyone puts everything they want. No two person in my TL have the same definition of it so I think it's cleverer to ditch this altogether and just explain what we like/dislike or disapprove.✨• BUT, I also strongly disagree with the fact fiction should be devoid of traumatic events. Because the fact of writing our traumas is important for self healing, and because yes, it's fiction and fiction's point is to exorcise the stuff that are lingering in our minds. But it all boils down on how it's written, what's the intent - is it catharsis, critical, or just unsane voyeurism and romanticism?
Let's say, picturing a rape or domestic violence, and it doesn't matter at all, it's never discussed or mentioned - worse, it's made to look romantic or normal, is just wrong and reinforce rape culture which is originated from a patriarchal and mysoginistic viewpoint. But adress it, talk about it, make it feel wrong for the viewer, and the point changes completely. Fiction has an influence on the real life, whether you like it or not and the way we depict things matter.
Violence and trauma, and bad stuff, is necessary to be shown, it's a fact - this is precisely why we make crime movies and horror movies. But it's also a fact that the way it's written has an influence on the way society perceives that thing.
I hate Twitter and fandom for making this a black or white question but it's not. The matter ISN'T should violence and trauma, or morally wrong things in general, be written or not, the matter is HOW should it be written. What message should the reader/watcher should go away with and transmit?
If the message is "incest is alright and so romantic", then it's a problem and don't tell me that isn't exactly what incest/pedo shippers are saying in their fics.AND ffs people are not amoral deviant people because they write morally wrong stuff, just as people who are uncomfortable with it aren't prudes, let's stop with this fucking two dimensional way of thinking, this is SO tiresome, it makes me hate fandom sometimes.✨• BTW, speaking of 2D opinions and discourses that make me hate fandom sometimes: ageism. It comes from both sides, please stop five minutes and consider stop calling 30+ fans freaks who should stop enjoying stuff they enjoy, and stop calling teen fans prude & ungrateful freaks, it's embarrassing either way.
And if you encounter a kid who says 30 something people can't enjoy stuff: let them talk! Time itself will prove them wrong!!! getting involved in this kind of discourse is tiresome for everyone.
✨• Also, let it be known that I despise just as much ship hate, I won't shit on your parade, don't shit on mine, I am not judgemental (despite what some of y'all might believe after reading this), for the most part, I'm just vibing with what I want to vibe to.
I dislike so much when people just can't stop talking about ships they hate. I hate that. Talk about what you like, be critical when there's a reason to be, but if you don't like the ship: IGNORE IT.It 's valable ALSO for ships we consider to be amoral. Is it wrong shipping incest: YES. But we don't have to talk about it all day long!! Let them be wrong in their corner and leave me at peace while we're at it! XDI also hate when people say stuff like "I would watch that show/whatever but there's [ship they don't like being canon] in it". Fucks sake get over it, you're missing on a very good show just because you can't stand another ship? That's sad. It's better for everyone if people would just mostly talk about what they love, occasionally be critical, but generally just being more positive than the people who are rude and wrong about stuff.🌙In fandom I have only 3 rules: be kind and respectful, mind your own stuff, have fun!
(Those work outside fandom actually).Always be kinder than the person who is being rude to you.---So here was some of my fandom opinions, I am sorry it was a long read but I think it was some things you might need to be aware of before following me.
If you disagree with anything I've said, and so if you decide to unfollow, no hard feelings, be happy, be well. I have not enough hate (or care) in my body to hate on you for disagreeing with me, Moffat has taken it all. 😂😉
Like I said before if we disagree whether we can live with it, or we can't and so we just need to walk past each other and move on.Peace !
